Guardster will only issue refunds in cases of fraud or at Guardster's discretion. Refunded accounts will be closed immediately. Refund requests that are denied will have their account expire at the end of its normal term.
Refunds will be considered for emailed requests within the first 48 hours of account activation to ensure service works for subscriber. A valid reason is required for refund. We are typically lenient during this period, but we do not appreciate people using the service and asking for a refund once they have finished with it.
Refunds will not be given for the following reasons (exceptions will be considered during the initial 48 hours):
- Incompatibility with website or browser. Guardster does not guarantee the performance, features, compatibility, accessibility, or content of the Guardster service or any website visited through the Guardster service. Guardster suggests that you use our free service to test compatibility before purchasing a subscription.
- Third party website blocking you or Guardster from accessing their site. If you visit a site and that site ends up blocking your or Guardster's servers, that is not grounds for refund.
- Inability to use service due to change in subscriber's computer configuration or change in subscriber's ISP outside of Guardster's control. Changes to your computer that prevent you from using the Guardster service will not be cause for refund. Note such changes can be caused by new software, upgrades, or operator error.
